Google Analytics 4 is optional. Its code is not requested and its cookies are not set unless you choose “Accept analytics”. “Reject analytics” leaves the site available. No advertising pixels or AI chat are running. The enquiry form is active; direct email, phone and WhatsApp links remain available.

1. Current website

The public pages are primarily static. Our hosting provider may use technical storage and server logs necessary for security, delivery and operation. When you submit the enquiry form, a session cookie is used to limit repeat submissions from that browser; it is not an analytics identifier. Our own browser storage key cobra-analytics-choice-v1 remembers only your accept/reject choice and its date for up to 180 days; it is needed to respect that choice and is not an analytics identifier.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 may set _ga and _ga_<property ID> first-party cookies to distinguish visits. Their default lifetime can be up to two years. Our measurement ID is G-XPZFKCSFZ2. We have disabled Google signals and advertising-personalisation signals in the site tag, and advertising consent remains denied. Analytics is used to understand website use, not to make decisions about individual visitors.

2. External services

We load Google Fonts for presentation. Crime Check loads Leaflet software from a third-party content network, map tiles from OpenStreetMap and uses Postcodes.io and the UK Police API when you search. Those providers can receive technical request information, and the postcode or approximate coordinates needed for the search. Their own privacy notices explain their processing. External social links and WhatsApp open only when you choose them; their services may use their own cookies after you leave our site.

3. Your choices

The consent panel gives equally available “Reject analytics” and “Accept analytics” choices. You can reopen it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics requests from this page after reload and attempts to remove this site’s Google Analytics cookies. It does not remove information previously processed by Google. Your browser can also clear stored cookies and choices. For details of how Google processes analytics data, see Google’s privacy policy. Questions can be sent to info@cobraprotection.co.uk. See our Privacy Notice for your data rights.
